A standard garage door size is nine feet wide and seven feet high which can easily accommodate a car. However, if you are willing to accommodate a truck, vans or some other big vehicles which is larger than ten foot wide and eight feet tall, you need to consider building a big garage door. The first simple step to begin with garage door repair is to check the tracks. If the track is not straight doors cannot operate smoothly. Hence, if you notice any dents, correct them immediately. You can use hammer to straighten the track.

The next thing you need to consider is checking the nuts, bolts and hinges of the door. If you find any loose parts, tight them using screw driver.
